Trick or Treat among the Wolves during Howl-o-Ween at the Red

Halloween Puppet show by Bill Yost Puppets, followed by a Wolf Wagon ride up to see the animals and a treat or treat with caretakers!

About the Red Riding Hood Rescue Project

The Red Riding Hood Rescue Project is a USDA licensed, Federal Non Profit Corporation that is dedicated to providing rescue, sanctuary, and lifetime support to wolfdogs in need, improving their lives with training and enrichment, and educating to encourage humane treatment and compassion. We believe that all animals are deserving of quality care in a safe and loving environment that offers physical and mental enrichment. Our goal is to help dispel the myths surrounding wolfdogs and wolves through community education and to inspire greater empathy and understanding for these often misunderstood animals.​

Other cool stuff!

Private Tours

Tours are an hour and 15 minutes long and would include an educational walk through with the experienced animal handlers or caretakers.  You will learn about wolfdogs as you tour the facility of 19 beautiful animals!

Meet and have the opportunity to engage with an ambassador animal to finish your tour. Cost: $100 for up to 5 people.  $10 for each additional person.  

100% of your private tour fee goes to support the animals directly.

Camping at The Red

Camping hut with cots awaits! Bring your sleeping bags or pitch your own tent, the hut sits up on a hillside next to the pretty pond. Just across a row of trees and the rushing stream are the wolfdogs. Fall asleep to their howls. Wake early to their howls. Hike the property. Enjoy a private evening tour.

Details: Dry camping only. Porta Potty by the barn. Pack in and pack out your own food and trash.

Cost: $125 for 2 people.
