Washington Park Hosting 4th of July Jam

Get ready to break out your red, white, and blue! Washington Park is hosting an Independence Day Celebration Saturday, July 4, from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Produced by 3CDC, the park’s 4th of July Jam features an afternoon of festivities the whole family will love, including live music, carnival games, and a special screening of The Grateful Dead’s “Fare Thee Well” performance at Soldier Field. In addition to games and face painting, hungry families can also enjoy $5.00 chicken sandwiches from The Eagle OTR, as well as a wide variety of delicious dining options from local food trucks. Washington Park’s concessions will also offer full bar service, coke products, and craft beer offerings from MadTree Brewing, Rhinegeist, Taft’s Ale House, and Christian Moerlein Brewing Company. At approximately 9:15pm, a spectacular fireworks show will light the night sky, courtesy of Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks.

Additional restroom facilities will also be available near the park’s Race Street entrance. Washington Park is located at 1230 Elm Street in the heart of Over-the-Rhine.
