Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) is helping you scare up some fun this October. From dance parties to costume parades to creepy crawlies and more, Weekends at the BOO!seum are frighteningly fun.
Every weekend in October, join the Cincinnati Museum Center for spooky family fun!
CMC knows that when October hits, little ghouls and goblins are howling for the chance to show off their costume. That’s why they’re giving you multiple reasons to put on your costume and to save while doing it. CMC is giving you $3 off Museum Admission when you come in costume every Saturday and Sunday in October.
But Weekends at the BOO!seum aren’t just about wearing a costume, it’s a chance to strut your spooky stuff. Join weekend costume parades in The Children’s Museum at Noon and 2 p.m. You can also do the Monster Mash during Children’s Museum dance parties, participate in spooky art activities in KidSPACE and listen and sing along during fall-themed story times.
Visit the Museum of Natural History & Science to see bats and snakes up close and personal as the museum unmasks these often-misunderstood animals. And experience levitating pumpkins, boo bubbles and more during a hair-raising show on the Austin E. Knowlton Foundation Science Stage. The Cincinnati History Museum’s History in the Making Classroom will also introduce you to historic printmaking with a Halloween-themed print you can take with you.
While there won’t be any trick-or-treating, there will be plenty of themed treats available from the museum’s food service. And, of course, plenty of tricks courtesy of chemistry and physics.
