Where to Watch Fireworks in Dayton

BOOM! Just like that 4th of July celebrations are back. Parades, festivals, and lighting up the night sky are just some of the amazing aspects of how Dayton celebrates Independence Day.

Here’s all the intel you’ll need on the who, what and where to see fireworks in Dayton.


Fireworks on July 2nd

Star Spangled Heights

Starting with a parade at 10am and ending with a fireworks display at dark, Star Spangled Heights in Huber Heights will be a full day of fun! Enjoy food trucks, activities for kids, a beer garden, and more!

Fireworks on July 3rd

City of Dayton Lights in Flight Fireworks Festival

The city of Dayton is reportedly planning to bring back it’s Fourth of July fireworks display again this year! The festival will begin at 12pm with fireworks starting at 10pm.

City of Vandalia Star-Spangled Celebration

The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Vandalia Sports Complex, with food and live music from the Blue Leafs. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. sharp!

Clark County Fireworks – Buck Creek Boom

The 27th annual community fireworks show returns this summer to celebrate America’s Independence with a spectacular fireworks display. The fireworks show is free to everyone and organized by the National Trail Parks and Recreation District. It will be possible to view the show from many locations around the community and allow more people to watch, closer to home now that the show has moved to downtown Springfield. Fireworks begin at dark, approximately 10:00pm.

Fireworks on July 4th

Americana Fireworks

Celebrate the Fourth of July at the 50th annual Americana Festival that begins with a bang on July 3rd and will continue on the 4th at the Centerville High School Stadium, 500 E. Franklin Street. A variety of food vendors will be on hand at the stadium entrance.

City of Beavercreek 4th of July Fireworks

The celebration will take place Monday, July 4, 2022 and will include a parade, live entertainment, food trucks, and a spectacular firework show.

City of Piqua 4th Fireworks

Piqua 4th Fest in Downtown Piqua from 12:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10:00 p.m.! More info coming soon!

City of Troy 4th of July Concert & Fireworks

Food trucks will begin selling food at Treasure Island Park starting at 5:30 p.m., the concert featuring Rockland Road starts at 7:30, and the annual fireworks display is slated for 10 p.m.

Kettering Fireworks – Go 4th!

Entertainment and Food Vendors are from 6 – 10:30 p.m. Children Activities are from 6 – 8 p.m. The fireworks show begins shortly after dusk.

5th Annual Red, White & Brew

Date: Coming Soon
The event will include a beer garden sponsored by Yuengling, live music performed by Stanger, family-friendly activities, a Kids Zone, food trucks, an AMAZING FIREWORKS DISPLAY promptly at 10pm and more! Event admission is FREE, but 100% of the beer sales and tee shirt sales will go directly to the local military nonprofit, Fisher-Nightingale Houses, Inc.
