The Canopy Walk is set to become a must-see destination for the entire central Ohio community, offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity to observe the park and its wildlife from a whole new perspective.
This engaging one-eighth of a mile trail provides visitors with a bird’s-eye view of the lush forest floor and the serene swamp below. With an elevator granting access to the 35-foot-high boardwalk and stairs leading to the observation platform at the top, all adventurers can revel in the thrill of playing in the treehouse, crossing rope bridges, and unwinding in the giant cargo net. Moreover, the Canopy Walk will serve as an ideal spot for birdwatching and taking in the park’s natural beauty throughout the changing seasons.
Following the grand opening on May 17, families can delight in the Canopy Walk experience from 9am-7pm (April-August) and 9am-5pm (September-March), providing ample opportunities to create lasting memories surrounded by the picturesque scenery and fascinating wildlife of Blacklick Woods Metro Park.
