As fall turns into winter, it’s always a good idea to have a few tricks up the proverbial parental sleeve. Indoor playgrounds are always fun, but there are also lots of places in Cincinnati where families can stay and play for hours on end! The Play Library is designed and operates like a regular library, except their inventory is full of new and vintage games, toys, dress up clothes and more! It is always free to come in and play. They are a non-profit organization, so feel free to drop a donation or become a member!

16-Bit Bar + Arcade


OTR
Your favorite late-night place for nostalgia and fun, has days for just the kids called “Bring Your Shorty Day.” One Sunday a month from 12-5 pm, tag the kids along for a day of fun and vintage gaming that takes them straight back to your childhood.

The Red Balloon Cafe + Play


Pleasant Ridge
For the parents of smaller kiddos between the ages of 1 to 6, Red Balloon was made for you! Their custom designed playspace is full of open-ended fun with stuff to climb on, push, pull, ride on and games to play. It’s the perfect place for them to get creative and imagine!

The Rook OTR

The Rook OTR has over 800 games that are free to come in and play. This gaming parlour is the ideal spot for any parent, babysitter or child with menu items like mini corn dogs, tater tots and pizza rolls.
