Young’s Jersey Dairy has “mooooved” its Dairy Store in Yellow Springs to a brand new building!
On Aug. 26, 2021 Young’s relocated its Dairy Store operation from the building it had called home since 1968 to a new state-of-the-art facility just a few hundred feet away. The new 22,000 square foot barn-shaped Dairy Store boasts more than double the space of the previous Dairy Store – with indoor seating accommodations for more than 250 people. An outdoor “Cow Patty-O” will be finished shortly, providing another 250 seats for Guests.
The New Young’s Dairy Store Features:
- On-site cheese and ice cream production, which Guests can watch while they order food!
- Private party/meeting room for birthdays and small events.
- A Farmstead Cheese shop selling Young’s branded memorabilia, homemade treats, decor and more.
- Double the space, with increased seating, and additional bathroom facilities.
A piazza with engraved bricks was installed in front of the store, with bricks dedicated to former employees, couples who had their first dates at Young’s, families who have visited for generations and more! The bricks benefit Rocking Horse Community Center and can still be ordered through the end of September.
Fall is an excellent time to visit Young’s Jersey Dairy’s new store, with plenty of family fun on the farm while you’re there! Check out Cowvin’s Corny Maze Playland, Pick Your Own Pumpkins beginning Sept. 18 and enjoy seasonal sweets!
