Winter is upon us! Have the kids hand over their electronics for a day of activity and fun with friends and family at Zip City. This is the only indoor trampoline, zipline and rock wall park on earth. So, no matter the weather, get ready for an amazing day of extreme sports that will end winter boredom.
Located in Sharonville, Zip City’s awesome 50,000 sq. ft. facility is housed inside Sport Plus Ohio, which includes multiple basketball courts, state-of-the-art inline skating rink and two ice rinks. It’s an incredible sports venue with something for everyone in the family. On day one of the holiday break, my daughter and her friends enjoyed a whole afternoon of fun at Zip City. But first, each parent filled out their daughters’ online waiver before arrival, which saved time for more fun.
With three unique attractions, the girls began with the trampoline park. Spanning 10,000 sq. ft., the girls jumped their way into the open jump courts, basketball courts, foam pit and the dodgeball court (where they were crowned victorious in a girls vs. boys match — girl power!) And we thought all the jumping would have exhausted them, but no. They were ready to zipline.
Zip City has the only indoor zipline in the area, and houses three individual zip lines, each spanning almost 220 ft. long and 3 stories high where brave riders can be propelled at speeds up to 20 mph. Being seasoned zipliners (no fear of heights here), the girls launched themselves into the air, laughing throughout the entire journey. And 10 times on the zipline was never enough… I lost count.
Finally, it was time for the rock wall. Zip City has 10 repelling stations almost 30 ft. tall with different ability levels. With energy running out, the girls pulled through and mastered the rock wall. They climbed and used their muscles to reach the top and ring the bell. After two hours of non-stop exercise and fun, these girls were happily exhausted, and wanted to plan the next trip to Zip City.
Wondering what the mommies did on this outing? We relaxed on the comfortable couches outside each attraction (viewing ability of your children is great), and we enjoyed Sky Lounge. The Sky Lounge is a large mezzanine overlooking the Trampoline and Zipline areas where parents can sit comfortably on couches and club chairs, and watch their kids trampoline jumping and ziplining.
Zip City is your family’s destination for indoor fun this winter. For just $19.95/person, your kids can zipline, climb the rock wall and enjoy unlimited jump for two hours — and a guaranteed early bedtime. Visit Zip City Cincinnati’s Facebook, Twitter and website pages for daily specials.
