It’s crazy how quickly life can change.
Over the course of the past week, our day-to-day lives were suddenly turned upside down with the uncertainty COVID-19 has caused. We want to let you know that the entire team at Dayton Parent is here for you as we all navigate the challenging times we are facing. Our employees are parents, just like you. We understand the added pressures with schools being closed, and events and activities being canceled left and right (understandably so). Most of us didn’t sign on for home-schooling our children, which places the added stress of figuring out how to balance this situation with work and life responsibilities.
As we navigate this situation together, we want to offer up helpful tips and share stories from other parents on how families are coping with this unprecedented situation. We invite you to share your stories of how you are handling your day-to-day life now, as well as ways in which you’re turning the lemons of this situation into lemonade. We’ll continue to share posts of encouragement and the stories that we collect through our readers.
We’re all in this together. Having a place to share your stress, victories, updates, even hectic grocery store trips is important. There’s comfort in knowing how others are coping.
We welcome your comments and stories and hope this will be a source of comfort for you.
From one parent (and grandparent) to another,
Mary Wynne Cox
