A Parent’s Guide to Texting and Gaming – How to know if your child has crossed the line. It’s the hot topic at Cincinnati Children’s Ages and Stages parent workshop on Saturday, December 16th at the Liberty Campus.
They’re texting. They’re instant-messaging. Instagramming. Gaming while tweeting. It’s the way kids communicate these days, but is it hurting them in ways you haven’t considered? Experts say there’s reason to worry – too much time texting and gaming can rewire young brains, lead to anxiety, falling grades and sleep loss. Then there’s tech neck and gamer’s thumb – physical effects of too much screen time.
How do you know when enough is enough?
What should you do?
The answers to these questions and more – at the Ages and Stages parent workshop, 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16th at Cincinnati Children’s Liberty Campus, 7777 Yankee Road, 45044. The FREE monthly workshop is designed to empower parents with information and helpful tips on raising children in today’s times.
