The Healthy Roots Foundation is proud to announce that on Saturday, September 23rd, Bluegrass for Babies is going back to its roots at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park for the 9th annual concert benefitting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Bluegrass for Babies is a concert for families; the concert runs from 3-9 p.m., and features music from top bluegrass bands, family-friendly activities, local concessions, and much more.
This year’s concert lineup features performances by three of the region’s top bluegrass bands: Jake Speed and the Freddies, The Redemptioners, and the Comet Bluegrass All-Stars. Special guest Jennifer Ellis will be returning to perform her popular children’s songs, as well.
Many Bluegrass for Babies favorite food, craft beer and kids activities will return in 2017. Dewey’s Pizza and MadTree Brewing will be on site to serve festival goers, and be sure to stop by Cincinnati Parent’s special booth, which will feature activities and our famous prize wheel!
Money raised at the concert will be donated to the Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The Perinatal Institute combines the latest advances in clinical care, research technology, and provides highly specialized care to newborns facing devastating medical conditions. Due to research expertise, innovation, and partnership with families, 95% of the fragile babies cared for by the Perinatal Institute go home with their families.
Tickets for the Bluegrass for Babies benefit concert are $12 for adults now through September 1, $15 September 2-22 and $20 on the day of the concert. Children are admitted for free. Tickets are limited due to the space available at Seasongood Pavilion, and the event is expected to sell out!
