Enjoy the charms of fall at Burwinkel Farms! Located in Ross, OH off of Hamilton Cleves Road, this family-owned farm has been providing the best local produce and seasonal fun to Southwest Ohio families for over 100 years. And the famous sunflower fields at Burwinkel Farms are the picture-perfect setting for hayrides, walks, yoga and fall fun!
Recently, my mom friend and I enjoyed a gorgeous fall evening in the sunflower fields at Burwinkel Farms. We came for the Sunflower Yoga class instructed by Denise Beckman. With yoga mats and water bottles in hand, we boarded a hayride and rode through the sunflower fields to our class.
Surrounded by happy sunflowers, we began the 50-minute yoga class by stretching under the setting sun. This unique class is for yoga enthusiasts of all levels and ages; and we were given special instructions for all poses and plenty of water breaks. This yoga practice was to inspire a love of nature and health.
The next Sunflower Yoga is Saturday October 13 from 9-10 am. Enjoy a crisp-cool fall morning of stretching in the sunflower fields — you’ll leave feeling refreshed and recharged.
For festive family fun, don’t miss out on the Sunflower Hayride Weekends now until October 28th (11am-5pm). These family fun-filled weekends begin with a hayride through the magnificent sunflower fields to enjoy the walking paths, pumpkin patch and corn maze. Your littles will love picking their own pumpkin to take home along with their special sunflower. Plus, there’s a second corn maze, skid maze, crawl through straw tunnel, Halloween scavenger hunt, corn pool, red while and blue maze, duck races, donkeys and goats to visit, Halloween checkers, snacks, tons of picture opportunities, and more.
These Sunflower Hayride Weekends are $8/person (2 and under are FREE) and includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch and sunflower fields, a pie pumpkin, a sunflower (when in bloom) and ALL the other activities.
