Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom
This holiday season, Kentucky Kingdom transforms into a magical winter wonderland filled with lights, snow, festive attractions and plenty of holiday cheer. Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom runs on select dates from late November through early January and offers families a one-of-a-kind holiday outing packed with immersive displays, snow play, seasonal treats and classic holiday magic.
Located in Louisville, this seasonal celebration features more than 1.5 million lights, themed villages, real snow hills, character meet-and-greets and cozy spaces to warm up between activities. Here’s everything families can look forward to during this year’s event.

Snow Zone and Blizzard Bluff Tubing Hill
One of the biggest draws of Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom is the Snow Zone, a multi-area snowy playground perfect for winter fun. The centerpiece is Blizzard Bluff, a 175-foot, eight-lane snow tubing hill covered in real snow. Families can race down the hill, enjoy thrilling runs and create unforgettable memories together.
Younger visitors will love Li’l Flurries Snowland, where they can build snowmen, make snow angels and play in up to three feet of fluffy snow. Fire pits and warming areas are available throughout the zone, offering a cozy break from the winter chill.
For an upgraded experience, families can reserve a heated igloo at Blizzard Bay Igloo Village, providing a private, comfortable space to relax between snow activities.
Santa’s Village and Magical Holiday Displays
Santa’s Village brings the classics of the season to life with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. Families can visit Santa’s House for photos, holiday conversations and a traditional meet-and-greet with the big man himself.
The park also features a 60-foot Light Tunnel, glowing orbs, illuminated trees and immersive décor designed to transport visitors into the heart of a holiday storybook. Holly Jolly Junction adds even more charm with appearances by beloved Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer characters and festive 5D showings.
Throughout the park, millions of lights create a sparkling backdrop that makes the entire experience feel magical.

Rides, Seasonal Treats and Holiday Atmosphere
While not every ride operates during the winter season, many family-friendly attractions remain open. But the real highlight is the atmosphere itself: twinkling lights, holiday music, themed zones and festive details around every corner.
Families will find plenty of holiday snacks, including hot cocoa, peppermint desserts, gingerbread treats and s’mores kits available at fire pit stations. Some seasons also include a Christmas Tasting Passport, allowing guests to sample a variety of seasonal bites.
Dates and Admission
Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom runs on select nights from November 22, 2025 through January 3, 2026. Admission is included with a regular daily ticket or a season pass. Special holiday promotions and flash sales are offered at various times of the season, making it easy for families to enjoy the event at an affordable price.
