In the last few days, local schools have closed, restaurants and area attractions have shut down, in an effort to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. It’s hard to keep up, but at Cincinnati Parent we are dedicated to being a resource for our parenting community.
Here is a list of Cincinnati attractions currently closed due to the Coronavirus:
Closed; will reopen April 4.
Closed until April 7.
All March story times canceled; store now closed. Online store is open. Check back for updates regarding April events.
All branches closed. From their website: “the closure could last until April 11. BCPL will reassess the closure weekly and use current information from health officials to determine the safest date to reopen. This is due to the latest information from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, the Governor’s office, and declarations of state of emergency.”
Campbell County Public Library
All Campbell County Public Library locations are closed through Sunday, March 29. Check back to this page for updates.

Closed until April 3.
Closed through April 3; tentatively set to reopen April 4.Â
Cincinnati Nature Center
UPDATE: Closed as of March 24 in accordance with Gov. DeWine’s Shelter-in-Place Order. Tentatively reopening April 6; check website and Facebook for updates.
At this time, all Cincinnati Parks will remain open and all general rules, including social distancing, apply. Pancakes in the Woods has been canceled; all Explore Nature! programs have been canceled through April 6; Cincinnati Parks volunteer events have been canceled through April 6.
Closed starting March 15 until further notice. All updates will be posted here. From the Zoo: “​If you have purchased tickets or registered for a program on dates when the Zoo will be closed, you will receive an email detailing your options.”
Clermont County Public Library
Closed through April 6.

COSI will be closed to the public for three weeks beginning March 13.
Closed through April 1.
Currently closed March 14-22 — but continue to check their website for additional updates. From their website: “Library officials will reassess the situation on Sunday, March 22 and determine at that time whether to reopen the following Monday or remain closed. During this time of closure, fines will not be accrued by patrons who have checked out items.”
Krohn Conservatory is closed until further notice and the butterfly show has been postponed with new date TBA.

Great Parks of Hamilton County
Effective immediately, Great Parks is canceling indoor and outdoor programs and events through at least April 5 including reservable areas, indoor play areas, visitor centers, exhibit areas and the Nature Center at the Summit. Outdoor parks are OPEN.
Closed through April 3.
Open with limited activities. From their website: “The Mayerson JCC will be canceling all instructed programming including GroupEx classes, swim lessons, sports programs and senior center programming beginning tomorrow Saturday, March 14 through Monday, March 30. However, the fitness center will remain open and will limit cardio use to every other machine to allow social distancing.” Check this page for an updated list of cancellations.
Closed March 16-27.
Open on a limited basis. From their Facebook page: “Open Jump is scheduled for Monday through Thursday next week from 11:00 to 2:30 and our regular time on Friday from 5:30 to 8. Please check our FB or call as we are limiting guests to 100 at a time.”
Outdoor sculpture park IS OPEN; all tours and public events have been canceled through April 3.
Opening Day delayed by two weeks, including all events, such as the Opening Day Parade.
Closed until March 25. From their website: “We are tentatively marking March 25th as our likely reopening date; we will continue to keep you all informed should that date change as news continues to unfold by the minute.”
The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati
At this time, all performances of Harriet Tubman: Straight Up Outta’ The Underground this weekend on the Showtime Stage ARE CANCELED. Any tickets purchased will be refunded in full and the performance will not be rescheduled. Additionally, all Academy Classes, Spring Break Camps, and Private Lessons will be suspended effective immediately. Academy activities will tentatively resume on April 6th, 2020
The Nancy & David Wolfe Holocaust and Humanity Center
Closed beginning March 14 until further notice.
The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County
All locations closed until further notice. In addition, the Friends Warehouse is also closed.
