Cincinnati Pops Concert and Drone Show at Cottell Park

Pack a picnic dinner and meet your friends at Cottell Park! On August 1st at 7:30 p.m., Cincinnati Pops will perform a summer concert before an epic drone show.

Deerfield Township, in partnership with, The Arts Alliance, will present, under the direction of conductor John Morris Russell, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra on at Cottell Park in Deerfield Township. Guests are encouraged to stay for the drone show, presented by The Flightline by Arthur Rozzi Pyrotechnics, featuring the music of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra.

This Sounds of Deerfield Summer Concert will feature a broad selection of family favorites. The musical program has a wide variety of selections from John Williams, Burt Bacharach, Scott Joplin, and more. This free and family event will offer facepainting from the Cincinnati Face Painters and art projects, located at The Arts Alliance booth.

Ample parking is available at Cottell Park. Overflow and additional parking will be available at the Northern Cincinnati Community Church, 6170 Irwin Simpson Rd., Deerfield Township. Guests may choose to walk to the park or take a complimentary shuttle.

Guests can enjoy several offerings by local food trucks. Two of Greater Cincinnati’s more popular craft beer vendors will also be onsite, and wine. Outside food and beverages are permitted as well.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, then sit back and enjoy an evening of music and merriment under the summer stars at this year’s Sounds of Deerfield Summer Concert featuring Conductor John Morris Russell and the Cincinnati POPS Orchestra on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Ample parking will be available at Cottell Park and the Northern Cincinnati Community Church located at 6170 Irwin Simpson Rd., Mason, Oh. All parking locations are walkable and in addition, golf cart and shuttle bus rides will be available.

The Arts Alliance
The Mission of The Arts Alliance is to bring art exposure, art education and cultural awareness to the Southwest Ohio region. The organization is dedicated to enriching the community by welcoming local and regional visual and performing artists and supporting their efforts through collaboration and partnerships.
