Strong Kids Triathalon

SWIM! BIKE! RUN! The Strong Kids Triathlon will be taking place on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at the Kroger Aquatics Center, behind the YMCA at the Heights.

• Kids will have help in the swim portion if needed. Swim float aids are allowed and lifeguards are in the water with the kids. The swim portion takes place in the lazy pool at the Kroger Aquatic Center.
• Helmets are required for the biking portion. Bring your own bike and helmet, if you have one. If not, don’t worry! We will have a few extra bikes and helmets for those who do not have one.
• Kona Ice will be present to buy flavor shaved ice!
• Trophies will be awarded for the top 3 times for boys and girls in each age group

  • Finisher’s Medal

  • Post-race refreshments
  • Entry into the Kroger Aquatic Center after the event!
  • If you register by July 29th, you will be entered into a raffle for our prizes! This includes a 1 year family membership to the YMCA, a Summer 2027 Season Pass to the Kroger Aquatic Center, and more.

  All proceeds benefit the YMCA of Greater Dayton’s Annual Campaign. The Annual Campaign ensures that no one is denied the opportunity to share in the experience due to the inability to pay. Financial assistance is available, please contact us for more information.
