Great Parks is bringing fairy tale characters and magical creatures to the trees and flowers of Glenwood Gardens with the Fairy Tale Festival, at the Highfield Discovery Garden from 11a-3p on Saturday, July 29.
Children will create treasured memories when they meet their favorite fairy tale characters in person. The day will feature Madcap Puppet shows, a fairy trading post, magical crafts, food trucks and vendors. Also included will be a bounce house, inflatable maze and Great Parks interpreters who will be introducing animal ambassadors to festival guests.
Under its 25-foot-tall Discovery Tree, the Highfield Discovery Garden is the picture-perfect setting for the Fairy Tale Festival. The area features seven smaller gardens including a wizard’s garden, trolley garden, butterfly garden and other areas that bring together imagination and the natural world in a fun, engaging environment.
Cost of admission to the Fairy Tale Festival is $10 per person. After June 30, the price goes up to $12 per person. All tickets will include admission to Highfield Discovery Garden. Highfield Discovery Garden passholders can purchase discounted event tickets at the gate.
