Enjoy March Madness While Supporting Local Businesses

Watch the games in person at social-distanced establishments or enjoy at home with to-go or delivery snacks

Even if the First Four games are not happening in Dayton this year, the Downtown Dayton Partnership (DDP) has put together a list of resources to make it easy for you to watch the college basketball tournament while supporting downtown’s local businesses. As part of the “Give Downtown A Rebound” basketball-themed campaign, patrons are also encouraged to play the Downtown Scorecard game for the chance to win $100 in Downtown Dollars e-gift cards, which can be redeemed at 70 downtown Dayton small businesses.

Going on now through the final day of the NCAA basketball tournament on Monday, April 5, you can play the Downtown Scorecard and find basketball game watching and food and drink options at www.downtowndayton.org/rebound.

In the Downtown Scorecard game, players can see four “shot challenges” they must complete with an online game card that will have them exploring downtown Dayton dining, shopping and entertainment – and can earn them the chance to submit a completed scorecard for a $100 Downtown Dollars e-gift card drawing. The challenges include opportunities to explore in-person following social-distancing guidelines, or tasks that can be completed online from home.

For more information, including helpful tips on places to visit to complete some of the Downtown Scorecard challenges, visit the Downtown Dayton Partnership website. Here you can find the pages for OPEN* downtown Dayton restaurants, retail and things to do.
