Heroes Park sits at the corner of Millikin and Morris Road in Fairfield Township, and it covers a lot of ground. The playground alone has a zip line, spinning nets, a toddler area, a multi-level climber and musical instruments. Add in covered picnic shelters, a paved walking trail, spacious parking, a veterans memorial and clean restrooms, and you’ve got a park worth the drive.
Heroes Park is open daily at 6032 Morris Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
Toddler Town
The playground entrance is ADA-accessible with no curbs and artificial turf around the toddler play space. There are musical instruments, a low-to-the-ground teeter-totter, a playhouse with a small slide and a tiny slack line to stand on. The whole space is open and easy to watch from anywhere in the park.

Multi-Level Climber
The tall climber towers over the rest of the park. Kids can work their way up through ladders, bars and steps before picking a slide, and the fast ones are genuinely fast. Three towers provide some shade on hot days.

Zipline, Nets and Swings
The zip line runs the length of the playground and gets used hard. The spinning nets are a separate thing entirely: one for kids who want to go fast, one for kids who’d rather climb and stay still. Both see a lot of action on weekends.

The paved trail works well for strollers if someone needs a break from the playground. Covered shelters are first-come, first-served and most have a grill. The tennis courts nearby give older kids somewhere to go while younger ones run the playground.
