9 Acres of Holiday Fun!

Nine acres! Under the glass climate-controlled garden atriums, holiday activities are bursting at the seams throughout the luxury resort. As you step inside the Cascades atrium, whether it’s your first time or you’ve been making Gaylord Opryland a tradition for years, there is a surreal feeling of “Wow, this is what a magical holiday feels like.”

The Garden atrium features a tropical conservatory like no other. With banana trees in the resort reaching 60 feet tall and Southern Magnolias reaching 40 feet, the gardens themselves are impressively relaxing and rejuvenating. Millions of twinkling lights fill the Garden atrium space as the host of the Parade of Trees, a self-guided tour of country artist-sponsored Christmas Trees. The picturesque trees include inspiration from Reba McEntire, George Strait, Kacey Musgraves, Alan Jackson and more.

The majority of holiday magic can be found in the Delta atrium, where a 12,500 square foot lake takes families on a holiday boat ride! The Delta Riverboat Country Cruise winds through the 72 degree atrium on a twenty minute ride packed full of Gaylord Opryland trivia and caroling. Families can pick up their pre-purchased Gingerbread houses to decorate while snapping pictures at one of many adorably themed selfie spots. Parents can also sign their children up for a Wintery Walk Scavenger Hunt, completing puzzles along the way.
