The stunning, vibrant sights and sounds of Blink’s city-wide art show will wow both you and the kids!
First experienced by over 1.3M people in 2019, BLINK the illuminated Future City, welcomes all to Cincinnati, October 17-20, 2024. The four-night, 30 city block, outdoor art experience inspires innovation and creativity through street art, projection mapping and light-based installations.
Blink lit up the city of Cincinnati in 2019 with its vibrant light and sound sensory experience that stretched from the heart of the city to Covington, KY. After a two year break, Blink is back with even bigger and better light displays, art features, musicians, artists and more.
Blink with Kids
Blink draws a large crowd from all over but is an out-of-this-world experience for children. At times, art installations can get congested and busy. The grassy area at Smale Park is a spacious, calmer spot for young children to play and enjoy the lights around them. Plus, the installations on the Roebling Bridge are magically unforgettable.
Parking at Blink
There will be lots of walking and stroller pushing during Blink’s nighttime art show. Avoid parking in the heart of downtown Cincinnati and instead cross the river into Northern Kentucky or the parking garage at Washington Park, OTR. Newport’s street parking in the neighborhood behind George Rogers Clark Park is a great starting/ending point and has excellent views of the vibrant Cincinnati skyline.
Must-Sees at Blink
Aside from the stunning views of Smale Park and George Rogers Clark Park, Blink is broken up into quadrants. Findlay Market, OTR, downtown, the Banks and Covington. The four day event kicks off with a parade on Thursday, October 13th in downtown Cincinnati. The parade theme this year is ‘Together: a constellation of shared cultures and unique identities; we illuminate joy through creative expression.’
