Families heading to the ballpark early in the season won’t want to miss the Cincinnati Reds annual Kids Opening Day on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
This fan-favorite tradition is designed especially for young Reds fans and includes a
pregame red carpet parade featuring Reds players and team mascots. Kids attending the game will have several opportunities to get involved in the fun before the first pitch.
Children 14 and younger will also receive a Kids Reds Cap presented by Hit Seekers Sports Cards, while supplies last.
Once the ballpark gates open, families can head to the First Star Fan Zone, where kids can enjoy activities like circus performers, face painting, mascot appearances and other interactive entertainment. After the game wraps up, kids can line up for the popular Run the Bases experience, with priority access for members of the Reds Heads Kids Club.
