Summer Theatre Day Camps:

Introduce the young theatre fans in your life to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for a one-week theatre camp! Each week offers five exciting courses that are influenced by a unique, artistic theme. All lessons lead up to a 10-minute performance piece for friends and family to attend on the last day of camp. This camp is for students entering grades one to 10. Classes and themes vary each session for campers interested in joining multiple weeks! Camp themes include: Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz!

Performance Academy:playhouse camp

This process-based performance program is for theatre enthusiasts entering grades one through 12 who want to experience the production of a play from beginning to end. During each session, campers will take classes and rehearse a play to be performed with limited sets and costumes for friends and family at the end of the week. Performance Academy will hold three-week camps at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and one-week camps at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Middletown Arts Center and Run Jump-n-Play Mason. No auditions necessary! Roles will be assigned on the first day of camp and lead roles may be double-cast to increase the learning experience for student performers.

Before and After Care:

The Playhouse also offers before and after care for parents who need more flexibility. Before care runs from 8 to 9 a.m.; after care runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. You’ll be offered the option of purchasing before care and/or after care after you select your camp.
