What is your Skidaddles age/grade range?
We accept children ages 18 months – 12 years in our Mason location.
What is your Skiddaddles educational philosophy?
Skidaddles provides award winning preschool programs to ensure your child is setup for success in Kindergarten. Our preschool program begins with an age appropriate environment that encourages children to learn, play, and explore. Add in great teachers, a hands-on curriculum, wonderful enrichment activities, and lots of friends to make an outstanding program! Found children will find an endless assortment of activities that engage the imagination and stimulate their minds. Skidaddles is an adventure that will challenge your child through play and exploration.
What is your enrollment policy? Are there any key dates parents should be aware of?
Families can enroll anytime for our programs.
What are the standard school day hours? Does your school offer flexible day/hour options? Is before/after school care available?
Our hours are currently 6:30am – 6:30pm Monday – Friday. We are additionally open for date nights on Saturdays a couple of times a month. Check our calendar and website for more details and look for extended hours coming back again soon.
We also have Before and After School care for our school age children.
How many children are in each class? How are children divided up?
Children are divided by their age. Because of our unique drop-in feature, we typically have low ratios with extra teachers on hand.
What are the teacher’s credentials?
We have teachers that range from education degrees to years of experience. Our teachers go through our Skidaddles University training, state required training, and First Aid and CPR certification. They also do professional development trainings each year.
How do teachers communicate with parents? How often do parents receive updates?
Parents are always welcome to talk to the teachers anytime. We have a service called Hi Mama that sends parents pictures and updates throughout the day. Our parents love it!
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Your child does not need to be potty-trained to attend. We will help you get started with this training process when your child is ready.
What enrichment programs/activities are offered?
We have enrichment classes included in our rates. This is one of the things parents and kids love about Skidaddles. Each day, we have cooking, foreign language, STEM, art, or fitness classes. The classes change each session. Be sure to check out the calendar on our website to learn more!
