TechFest is a free family fun with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Participate in approximately 70 hands-on experiences with STEM exhibits, demonstrations and games.
TechFest takes place at Sinclair Community College’s Ponitz Center and nearby buildings on February 15th, 10:00 am- 6:00 pm and February 16th, 11:00 am- 5:00 pm
TechFest provides a source of motivation for students to study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) back to their normal school environment. TechFest generates an atmosphere of excitement and fun for K-12 youth, their parents, and grandparents. It promotes learning and discovery in virtually all STEM fields.
There is a multitude of opportunities for one-on-one interaction between professionals and the youth as they explore over seventy hands-on exhibits, as well as over 30 infotainment presentations, held auditorium and classroom environments. Also, see Unmanned Aerial Vehicles at Sinclair’s UAV center
TechFest exhibits are located in the Ponitz Conference Center (Bldg. 12), the Unmanned Aerial Systems facility (Bldg. 13), and the UAS Indoor Flying Pavilion (Bldg. 18) on the Sinclair Community Campus in downtown Dayton.
Free parking during TechFest is available in parking lots A, C, and M. School buses should park in Lot M
