The Pigeon and Pals! A Mo Willems Art and Play Exhibit is coming to The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis!
This exciting exhibit runs Feb. 8 through May 10, 2020 at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and is FREE with admission.
Spend an exciting day with the characters of beloved children’s book author Mo Willems, including best friend duo Elephant Gerald and Piggie, faithful companion Knuffle Bunny and The Pigeon, the wily city bird best known for his antics in Don’t Let Pigeon Drive the Bus!
The Pigeon and Pals! A Mo Willems Art and Play Exhibit is hands-on fun for families! At this exhibit, kids can:
Make Elephant and Piggie dance with old-time animation
- Spin a washing machine to look for Knuffle Bunny
- Launch foam hot dogs at The Pigeon!
- Create art inspired by Willems’ characters
- View original illustrations from all 25 books in the Elephant & Piggie series

The Pigeon and Pals! A Mo Willems Art and Play Exhibit is a special combination of The Pigeon Comes to Indianapolis: A Mo Willems Exhibit, co-organized by the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, and Elephant & Piggie in WE ARE ART! (A Mo Willems Exhibition), organized by The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
