While we all love a good swim at our community pool, nothing beats the fun of a splash park. Part water park, part playground, these summer spots are a big hit with kids. And, since many are free (or just a few dollars), these playgrounds are sure to be a big hit with parents, too!

Cincinnati Recreation Commission
All CRC spraygrounds are free except McKie, Oakley and Pleasant Ridge, which require a pool membership during regular pool hours. Spraygrounds are open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Beech Acres Park
This playground is like no other playground in the park district, with a stimulating layout that encourages both active and imaginative play. The most important aspect of the playground’s design is its level of accessibility. Each section features play opportunities for children of varying physical abilities. It’s open 10 am – 8 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Clippard Park
The sprayground at Clippard Park features a variety of motion activated features for all to enjoy plus a nice shaded picnic table for those who prefer to stay dry. Open 11 am to 7 pm from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
Covington Water Park/Splash Pad
The Water Park/Splash Pad is great for young children. Part of the Bill Cappel Youth Sports Complex, this facility is located at 43rd Street and Decoursey Avenue. Open seven days a week from 12 to 6 pm, June 12 through August 8. Daily admission is free for Covington resident when you register for a free pool pass.Â
Home of the Brave Park
The spray ground is adjacent to the park’s impressive playground, and operates 12 am to 5 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Julifs Park
This splash park in Anderson is adjacent to the eponymous playground. It’s open 10 am – 8 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Ziegler Park
Ziegler Park in OTR has a FREE sprayground at the center of the park that’s a fun way to cool off after the kids have played at the dry playground.
