The moms behind Timber & Bow Play Studio have been best friends since second grade. After attending The Ohio State University, they stayed in Columbus, Ohio and started their families. As new moms, they spent quite a bit of time enjoying play dates at indoor playgrounds and cafes. Upon relocating to Troy, Ohio, Autumn and Jessi loved the small town feel of their new community, but noticed something was missing…a nearby, clean, safe, indoor environment for their kids to burn off some energy while they relaxed and caught up. When an opening presented itself on the north side of Troy, they jumped at the chance to turn their dream into a reality. 
Timber & Bow Play Studio was designed to allow kids to have fun and burn off energy while their parents socialize, get a little work done, or simply relax and enjoy a hot beverage! As moms of little kids, the owners paid particular attention to all the little details that make life easier for parents along the way. The cheerful, informal play space provides many developmentally appropriate activities geared towards infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. With a gentle nod to the “Sherwood Forest” of Robin Hood, the space offers a modern take on nature-themed play. The main play area welcomes kids to come play with its plush, realistic-feeling grass turf and giant wooden playset. The train table and pretend wooden food are favorites for kids of all ages. From the various climbing structures to the quaint playhouse and garden shed, and all the gross-motor, fine motor, and imaginative play in between, there really is something for everyone!
Open play is available to the public seven days a week for $8 per child (children under 1 are free with a paid sibling). While the kiddos run around and play, adults are welcome to relax in the comfortable, brightly lit seating area with an unobstructed view of the entire play studio. Make your visit a full experience by ordering a coffee and treat from Midtown Coffee & Creamery next door, and have it delivered right to your seat! If you need a break from playtime, head to RedBERRY, located just around the corner, for a delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch and come back once your bellies are full. 
Timber & Bow is also the perfect place to host a private event. Event rentals are offered on evenings and weekends, and include exclusive use of the entire space! You are welcome to decorate the studio to suit your theme and bring in your own food, treats, and drinks. A personal assistant will help you set up, make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the party, then tear down and clean up everything once you’re ready to leave! Kids and adults alike enjoy the fun, relaxing atmosphere of Timber & Bow Play Studio while celebrating birthdays or any special occasion.
