Whimsical “Hide-and-Seek" Animal Adventures at the Taft Museum of Art

Cats, cows, and quails, OH MY! Bring the whole family to celebrate the release of the Taft Museum of Art’s first children’s book, Hide-and-Seek Animals.

For a sneak peek and a chance to meet the author, Assistant Curator Angela Fuller, check out the museum’s monthly Create & Play program, designed for children ages 2–6 and their caregivers on Wednesday, April 17. We’ll enjoy story time and explore the museum’s galleries together while learning about art through guided activities, interactive games, and art-making.

Keep the animal adventures going with the whole family at our next Family Funday on Sunday, April 21. Throughout the day, you can enjoy more experiences inspired by the book release. Get hands-on with Good Green Earth Farm’s petting zoo, savor a milk and coffee cookie bar, or join story time and book signing with the author and a strums and drums workshop with Band in a Bus.

Want to take Hide-and-Seek Animals home for continued fun? Pick up your own copy in the Museum Shop for just $9.99!

Museum admission for Create & Play and Family Fundays is included with these fun-filled days, including current special exhibitions African Modernism in America and A Breath of Fresh Air: Nature Inspires Rarely Seen Works from the Taft Collection.
