Winter Break Cincinnati Museum Center Camps are on sale now

The holidays are quickly approaching. Are you ready?

Winter Break Cincinnati Museum Center Camps are on sale now and you need to sign your kids up!

It happens. You get so focused on turkey and the in-laws visiting that you forget your kids are off school. Or you forget that winter break actually lasts two weeks or more. So you scramble to find a sitter for the kids while you juggle work, shopping and cleaning.

The alternative? Get *ahead of the game* NOW and sign them up for Cincinnati Museum Camp. Camps will harness that crazy kid energy into creative, interactive camp experiences that sharpen children’s knowledge of science, technology, history and the arts. Museum Camps are the perfect way to keep kids busy, engaged and learning.

From future astronauts and space explorers to engineers and builders, there’s a camp for every kid at CMC this winter. CMC is hosting Winter Museum Camps at Cincinnati Museum Center and the Cincinnati Observatory.

Future astronauts can discover the science behind rockets, rovers and more as they prepare their own spacecraft and crew for a mission to the Moon, Mars and beyond. They’ll even get to design their habitat once they arrive at their far-flung destination. A visit to CMC’s Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission exhibition will provide some inspiration as the cadets come face-to-face with Buzz Aldrin’s helmet and gloves and the Apollo 11 command module Columbia. And they can relive the historic moment in stunning detail when they take in the OMNIMAX® film Apollo 11: First Steps Edition.

The Cincinnati Observatory is providing junior stargazers a closer look at the sky as they peer through telescopes and build their own rockets.

For those amateur engineers and LEGO master builders, a series of LEGO building challenges powered by engineering principles will let their creativity run wild. If animals are more up their alley, firsthand animal encounters will reveal the amazing adaptations different creatures have developed that allow them to thrive in their environment. Or your kids can time travel and explore cultures from the past, learning life and trade skills from different periods in history and stroll along the historic streets of 1850s Cincinnati.
