With offerings ranging from research and college-credit programs for high school students to arts and sports camps for all ages, the University’s campus will host nearly 20 different programs beginning in June. Our camps include opportunities to dine in the dining hall, spend time outside on our robust campus, and meet faculty from a variety of programs.

What activities are offered at your camp?
Activities will vary by camp, but our overnight camps include immersion trips around Cincinnati including to the Zoo, Reds, and Museum Center. Other camps include dining in our dining hall, doing research with faculty members, and exploring Cincinnati.
What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
Our camper-to-counselor ratio is in alignment with ACA guidelines and is reduced for residential camps.

What is the typical daily schedule for campers?

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
Counselors are either current college students, faculty, or staff. They are required to have a background check, complete Campus Security Authority training, and ensure compliance with our minors on campus policy.
What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?
Xavier is ADA approved and we will work to meet accommodation needs in conjunction with our Office of Accessibility & Disability Resources.
