Snapology Camps use LEGO Bricks, LEGO Robotics Kits, K’NEX & Technology to teach children STEAM Concepts in a fun, hands-on and interactive way. Additionally our programs promote Creativity and strive to build Social, Teamwork and Public Speaking skills. And lastly, are programs are inclusive.
What activities are offered at Snapology of Westchester Twp?
LEGO Build Activities incorporating fun and educational program themes (Minecraft(TM), Pokemon(TM), Ninjas; Harry Potter(TM), Scientists, Engineers and more);

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
10 to 1 (max)
How much time do the campers spend outside?
Depends on the venue. At The EDGE Teen Center outside activities are promoted during breaks and lunch. Most other venues do not have outside time but there are movement and fun breaks.
Does the camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?
Most venues and days the parents need to provide them.
What is the typical daily schedule for campers?
For a 3 hour half day camp children will have 2 to 5 different activities and/or games with at least 2 – 15 minute breaks for snacks, games or movement activities.
For full day camps children have a 1 hour lunch break in between AM and PM Camps (different themes) for eating, free building and game play.
How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
All of our instructors have 2+ teaching experience (most are full time teachers/counselors during the school year). Teaching assistants typically have camp counseling/teaching experience but generally it may be less than 2 years.
All staff are background checked, have Safety and Child Abuse Prevention training in addition to Snapology specific curriculum and classroom management training.
What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?
Teachers/Counselors with experience working with special needs children. Noise and lighting adjustments. Aides are permitted. Curriculum and other environmental adaptations based on the specific needs of the child.
