Fall Farm Fun at Young’s Dairy: Corn Maze, Pumpkin Picking and Haunted Wagon Rides
Cowvin’s Corny Maze and Playland is open weekends now, with daily hours starting September 19.
Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs turns its cornfields and pumpkin patch over to families every fall. Between now and the first week of November, you can pick your own pumpkin, work your way through Cowvin’s Corny Maze, or brave a haunted wagon ride after dark.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins
Young’s Fall Farm Pumpkin Fun runs September 19 through November 1, open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Picking your own pumpkin, wagon ride included, costs $11 per pumpkin, or three for $30, four for $40, five for $48. A Moo-it-All wristband is $27.50 for ages 12 and up, $20.50 for ages 11 and under, and covers a hand-picked pumpkin from the patch, a ticket to Cowvin’s Corny Maze and Playland, and a two-dip waffle cone of Young’s homemade ice cream. Pre-harvested pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn are also on display near the Dairy Store, with several thousand smaller pumpkins selling for $4 or less.
Cowvin’s Corny Maze & Playland
Open weekends starting August 1, then daily from September 20 through October 26, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cowvin, the youngest member of the Cow Family, built this maze through the cornfield: more than 9 acres and more than a mile of winding paths, with a playland waiting at the end. Admission is $10 per person for ages 5 and up, and it includes a wagon ride to and from the maze. Kids 4 and under get in free, and anyone 11 and under needs an adult along.
Haunted Wagon Rides & Scary Stories
Friday and Saturday nights, September 25 through October 31, 7:30 to 10 p.m.
The ride starts with ghost stories in Young’s storytelling theater, then heads out by wagon into a dark cornfield with monsters, goblins and jump scares built for families. Tickets are $19 for adults and kids 6 and up, $9 for kids 5 and under. Kids 11 and under need an adult along.
