2025 Cincinnati Easter Egg Hunts

Spring has sprung in Cincinnati — and this is most evident by the number of upcoming Easter celebrations. And these aren’t the egg hunts we had as kids — these hunts happen at the Zoo and Museums; underwater and aboard trains; at the crack of dawn or by flashlight at night. Easter is April 20 — and the weekends leading up to this spring holiday are packed with egg-celent egg-stravaganzas in all corners of the city! So pop some Peeps, grab your camera — and get ready for lots of fun!

Here is our 2025 guide to Easter Egg Hunts in Cincinnati:

Contest for Egg-splorers
April 11 – 14 with Fairfield Parks and Recreation 
Five large wooden Easter eggs will be hidden in five of the 29 parks—can you find them all? Snap a photo with each egg and submit your pictures for a chance to win! The first 50 participants to find all five eggs and submit their photos will receive a small prize, available for pickup at the Fairfield Community Arts Center.

Extreme Egg Hunt
April 11, 7:30p-10p at Caesar Ford Park
Can you find Easter eggs in the dark? If you can, you could win prizes! Participants must have a flashlight to participate, bags will be provided.

CFM Easter Egg Hunt
April 12, 9a-10:30a at The Cincinnati Fire Museum
Join in for a fun morning to hunt for Easter eggs amongst the two floors of the history exhibits. The Easter Bunny will be present at this event and available for selfies. 

HVO’s Easter Extravaganza
April 12, 10a-3p at Hidden Valley Orchards in Lebanon
Get ready for a day of egg-citing family fun with 14,000 Eggs to Hunt; from the Limited Mobility Hunt to the Last-Chance Egg Hunt, there’s something for every bunny! Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy crafts, facepainting, cookie decorating, bounce houses, petting zoo and more! Enjoy live music and entertainment, and savor food truck favorites and sip on Easter-themed cocktails and mocktails!

HOPPIN’ Easter Egg Hunt
April 12, 10a at Village Green Park
Bring your baskets so you can grab all of the Easter eggs and candy that you can find! Don’t forget to bring your camera for a photo op with the Easter Bunny until 11am!

Liberty Township Easter Egg Hunt
April 12, 10a at The Park at Liberty Center
Enjoy a fun-filled, festive morning of activities including: egg hunts by age group, arts & crafts, a family-friendly DJ and of course the Easter Bunny!

Independence Egg Hunt
April 12, 10:30a – 1:30p at Memorial Park
Festivities kick off at 10:30am including entertainment from jugglers, stilt walker and balloon artists. Egg Hunt starts at 12pm. Raffle to follow!

Easter Egg Hunt at Veteran’s Park
April 12, 1pm at Veteran’s Park
Be sure to bring a basket to collect eggs filled with candy or small prizes. There will be 3 categories: 3 and under, 4, 5 & 6, and 7, 8, 9. Each section will have approximately 2000 eggs. Get there early!

GTO: Teen Egg Hunt
April 12, 7:30p-10p at Ceasars Ford Park
Extreme Egg Hunts aren’t just for adults anymore!! This Extreme hunt is just for our TWEENS and TEENS!! Those aged 10-17 – bring your friends, bring your flashlights and bring the HYPE!!! Prizes could possibly await you as you exit the dark woods with your findings!

Easter Bunny Express at LM&M Railroad
April 12, 13, 18 & 19
Hop aboard the LM&M Railroad’s Easter Bunny Express! Enjoy a train ride to the LM&M Junction for a special visit with the Easter Bunny. All children will receive a special gift and have the opportunity to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt! Can’t find your Easter Baskets? No worries, LM&M will provide each child with a bag to use during the Easter Egg Hunt!

Easter Egg Hunt at Harvest Home Park
April 13, 1p at Harvest Home Park
Join in on the festivities in Cheviot with an Easter Egg Hut at Harvest Home Park.

Easter Egg Hunt and Swim Party!
April 18, 1:30p-3p at Goldfish Swim School – Kenwood
The event will kick off with the Easter Egg Hunt for children, followed by Family Swim time, crafts, and a Meet-and-Greet with the Easter Bubbles!

Anderson Parks Youth Egg Hunts
April 19, 9a at Riverside Park
Visit with the Easter Bunny and join in on photo ops, fun and of course Easter Egg Hunts!

Milford Christian Church Egg Hunt
April 19, 9:30a
Join in for the annual easter egg hunt along with breakfast, photos with Peep and crafts!

Montgomery Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt
April 19, 10a at Montgomery Park
There are three separate areas for age groups 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9. The Kiwanis will have 1000 eggs to spread across the area, with 100 special eggs that can be brought to the pavilion for a small prize!

Imagine Cincinnati Neighborhood Egg Hunt
April 19, 11am-1p at Community Happens Here
Join us for Community Happens Here’s annual
Neighborhood Egg Hunt. In addition to egg hunting, you can spend time decorating an Easter Egg bag, playing “pin the ears on the bunny,” or enjoying free cocoa & coffee.

Easter Eggspress
April 19 at 12p & 2p at the Kentucky Railway Museum
All aboard the Easter Eggspress! Celebrate the Easter holiday with your family at the Kentucky Railway Museum. Take a fun train ride, enjoy the museum and model trains, learn about the history of the railroad, and best of all — meet the Easter Bunny! Weather permitting, children can enjoy an Easter egg hunt following the train excursion. It’s a fun time for everyone in the family, especially the train lovers.

Heritage Village Museum Egg Hunt
April 19, 12p-2p at Heritage Village Museum
Brightly colored candy filled plastic eggs will be hidden in the yards of several of the historic buildings for youngsters to collect and take home with them. There will be three separate sessions for ages 1-3, 4-6, and 7-10. In addition to the eggs they collect, children will also get goody bags and treats.

10th Annual Operation Egg Drop
April 19, 1p at New Richmond High School Stadium
Join for the 10th Annual Operation Egg Drop with the New Richmond and surrounding communities. This event is for newborn to 5th graders and registration is required.

Fibonacci Brewing’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
April 19, 12p at Fibonacci Brewing
The children’s egg hunt has gotten bigger and better each year, always complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Photo ops, tons of treat-filled eggs and of course a visit with Fib Farm’s goats and chickens will make for a fun afternoon in the beer garden. Arrive just a few minutes early, grab a drink, and meet us at the entry to the beer garden! The Adult Egg Hunt will kick off at 6pm and live music starts at 6:30pm!

Cincinnati Zoo Easter Celebration
April 19, 12p – 5p
This egg-citing day is FREE with Zoo Admission! The celebration will feature animals receiving Easter-themed enrichment throughout the day and Treat Stations through the Zoo. To help the Zoo go green, please bring your own treat bag! Children will also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny in the Zoo Gift Shop from 12pm-5pm.

Washington Park Egg Hunt
April 19 & 20, 11a – 3p
Join for the annual Egg Hunt with a twist! Instead of a traditional egg hunt, there will be a two-day egg scavenger hunt in the park. Eggs will be individually packaged and handed out by staff members to those who participate in the scavenger hunt.

41st Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Young’s Dairy
April 20, 2p
As is the tradition, they will hard boil and dye over 7,000 eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt. This event starts promptly at 2 PM for children ages 4 and under. At 2:20 PM do it again for ages 5 to 7. At 2:40 PM they will have the final hunt for ages 8 to 10. There is no charge for this fun event. We suggest you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your age category, so you have time to find the line and get ready to go! Barnabe, the mascot, will be present, so bring your cameras and have your child’s picture taken with him for you to cherish for years to come. The Easter Egg Hunt is held rain (or snow!) or shine. After all, what else can they do with all those hardboiled and dyed eggs?
