2nd Street Market Now Open Saturdays & Sundays

Five Rivers MetroParks’ 2nd Street Market is now open indoors and outdoors on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Market is located at 600 E. Second St. in downtown Dayton.

Since reopening the indoor market on July 17, nearly 14,000 shoppers have visited Five Rivers MetroParks’ 2nd Street Market. Due to the increasing number of visitors and vendors, the Market is expanding its weekend operations so shoppers have more time to buy fresh, local produce, meat, dairy, spices, baked goods, artisan goods and more. A number of prepared food vendors also have reopened indoors so visitors can grab a meal while they shop.

The 2nd Street Market is reopening gradually, adding days as customer base grows and vendor capacity allows.

The 2nd Street Market helps Five Rivers MetroParks meet its conservation mission and serve as the region’s conservation leader by providing the community access to fresh, local food, which is less taxing on the environment and often healthier.Five Rivers MetroPark
