Gorman Heritage Farm
There are a few spots around where you can catch glimpses of these stunning flowers, but arguably the best place to do so is at the Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm. Each year, crowds gather to celebrate this happy flower at Gorman Heritage Farm. The Sunflower Festival includes lots of family fun and is held the first weekend of October. It also happens to have an enormous sunflower maze that is just as magnificent as it sounds. This year’s annual Sunflower Festival is slated for Oct. 7 & 8.
Burwinkel Farms
The sunflowers are the STARS of fall at Burwinkel Farms through July 23, 2023. Â From sunflower yoga (yes!) to sunflower field mazes and the sweeping views from the tractor rides at the fall festival, you have to check out this beautiful farm in Butler County.

Kalon’s Korner

Kalon’s Korner is a from-a-fairytale sunflower field in Kentucky that boasts multiple fields and private events where you can experience these beautiful late-summer flowers. “Every year brings new obstacles and challenges. Each seed planted an experiment begun. Every observation, lessons learned and natural growth. This year’s yield is not what we are used to, though the flowers still showed up to brighten a gray day. They may be small and few but they still deliver a smile when needed. We will not be opening our gates to the public this year. However, if you wish to take a walk or discover a variety of pollinators that enjoy the mix of the field, message us. We can schedule a visitor’s appointment.” -Kalon Farm
Sunflowers are Mother Nature’s happiest flower and you can’t help but smile when you see one or an entire field of them blooming.
