We love summer! And we are thoroughly enjoying all the festivals and family friendly events happening this time of year. It’s hot and humid, yes, but that’s what splash parks are for! After a careful perusal of our Online Calendar, we bring you our top 5 family friendly events this weekend!

Monroe High School, 220 Yankee Rd., Monroe, OH 45050
If you have a young animal lover in your house, you have to head to Monroe this Saturday. This free festival is for all animal lovers and is hosted by PAWS Adoption Center, a no-kill animal adoption center that’s been finding loving homes for animals in need for 35 years! (Warning: it will take serious willpower not to adopt a four-legged friend.)
Ride Cincinnati
Sunday, June 12, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Yeatman’s Cove, 705 E. Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202
You don’t have to be a serious cyclist to enjoy this event! Ride Cincinnati is an annual non-competitive, family-oriented bicycling event that raises funds for Breast Cancer Research. This year’s 10th anniversary event promises to be bigger and better than ever — and all local families are invited to Yeatman’s Cove this Sunday to join the cause!
So slather on the sunscreen and get outside with your family this weekend! While you’re out and about, be sure to share your pictures on Instagram with the tag #CPSummer. We’d love to share your pics with the Cincinnati Parent community!
