5 Festivals for the Weekend

Hello, hello! It’s the last weekend of July, and boy, is it a big one! There are tons of festivals happening this weekend, varying in themes from babies to t-shirts to all things Greek! Read on for our top 5 fests for the weekend — then devise a game plan to hit each and every one of ’em!



Sharon Fest
Friday, July 29 – Saturday, July 30 at Gower Park in Sharonville
Nothing beats a hometown festival, and Sharon Fest is a celebration of local non-profit and charity organizations in the area. This year’s festival features music, rides and a family fun fest!

Friday, July 29 – Sunday, July 31 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church
Greek out at Greekfest! This weekend-long festival features the standard rides, games and exhibitions — but the real star of the show is the food. Gryos, stuffed grape leaves, spinach pie, greek salad and roast lamb will be available. You can even create a custom pastry order for pick up. Opa!

Cincinnati T-Shirt Market
Friday, July 29 – Saturday, July 30 at Fountain Square
Wear your Cincy pride on your sleeve by purchasing a locally designed tee! This weekend, the Cincinnati T-Shirt Market will take over Fountain Square, offering all kinds of Cincinnati-themed shirts.

Muggles Express
Saturday, July 30 at the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad
LM&M Railroad is celebrating the release of the new Harry Potter book with this afternoon train ride! Come celebrate the release of Harry Potter’s 8th book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts I & II. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite character and enjoy a ride on the Muggles Express, complete with a feast at the Great Hall (Golden Lamb).

Cincinnati Baby & Beyond Expo
Saturday, July 30-Sunday, July 31 at the Sharonville Convention Center
Moms of kids and moms to be will find everything they need at this expo! From toys, books and on-the-go gear to breastfeeding experts, health-care professionals, seminars and hands-on demos, the Cincinnati Baby & Beyond Expo is the only show that covers it all. There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids, plus samples, prizes and giveaways galore!
