5 things you can only do this weekend in Cincinnati

It’s Father’s Day Weekend, and there’s a lot happening around town. Luckily, we’ve done the legwork for you, searching high and low for fun things happening this weekend only!

From the final days of the Butterfly Show and SkyStar Wheel to fun festivals and shows, here are 5 things you can only do this weekend in Cincinnati:

Ride the SkyStar Wheel

The SkyStar arrived on Aug. 31 and has since become a fixture in the Cincinnati skyline. Truly — the SkyStar looks so natural down on the Banks, nestled behind the iconic “Sing the Queen City” sign, that late last year the SkyStar announced it would be extending its stay in Cincinnati through June 16. If you haven’t ridden the SkyStar yet, do it now before it’s too late!

Catch Broadway in Cincinnati’s CATS

Broadway in Cincinnati’s shows are a real treat. If you’re into world-class musical theatre, definitely do yourself a favor and catch CATS this weekend at the Aronoff.

See the butterflies at Krohn Conservatory

Krohn’s annual butterfly show is something every Cincinnatian looks forward to. For this season’s Butterfly Show, you’ll truly feel like you’ve been transported to Ecuador, a magical environment with four distinct climates: the Amazon, Andes, Coastal and the Galapagos Islands. As always, the Cincinnati Parks staff have worked magic in creating an experience that touches all the senses. The Butterfly Show runs through June 16.
