Tucked away in the rolling hills of Enon, Ohio, Sunset Ridge Lavender Farm is a peaceful retreat that feels like a world away. With more than 5,000 lavender plants across 16 varieties, this 33-acre farm is the perfect place to slow down, breathe in, and surround yourself with the calming scent of lavender.
U-Pick Lavender: A Summertime Favorite
One of the farm’s most popular experiences is their U-Pick lavender, which runs from early June through mid-July. For just $12, visitors can snip their own bundle of about 100 to 150 fragrant stems—no appointment needed. The farm provides everything you’ll need, from scissors to rubber bands, so you can simply show up and enjoy.
Lavender typically begins blooming in early June and hits its peak later in the month, with the season lasting into mid-July (depending on weather). Just a heads up: U-Pick and photo session sign-ups close 30 minutes before the farm closes each day.

More Than Just Lavender Fields
There’s so much more to love about Sunset Ridge than just the blooms. The farm features a beautiful Amish-built purple barn, made with traditional mortise and tenon craftsmanship and hickory pegs. Inside, you’ll find a cozy gift shop stocked with lavender goodies like bath products, culinary treats, handmade jewelry, and more.
Be sure to grab a glass of their signature lavender lemonade and relax on the porch while you take in the scenery. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to linger.
Yoga in the Fields
For a truly unique experience, try a yoga class surrounded by blooming lavender. From June 6 through July 11, Friday morning classes start at 8:45 AM, led by instructor Jeanine Howell. These sessions are open to all skill levels and offer a peaceful start to your day.
