A Zinzinnati Holiday at Krohn Conservatory

Every year, there are certain holiday traditions my family looks forward to. The holiday show at Krohn Conservatory is always at the top of the list. Between the trains, buildings and flowers, Krohn Conservatory is transformed into something magical each year.

This year’s A Zinzinnati Holiday is one big love letter to our city, celebrating Cincinnati’s beautiful buildings and landmarks. Running now through Jan. 5, A Zinzinnati Holiday at Krohn Conservatory is a must-visit attraction for families this holiday season.

This year’s display has transformed Krohn Conservatory’s main showroom into a wonderful, whimsical winter wonderland. It’s a total sensory experience complete with fragrant foliage, vibrant poinsettias and colorful locomotives chugging all around.

A Zinzinnati Holiday celebrates the Cincinnati’s proud German heritage, with exquisitely detailed depictions of classic Cincy landmarks. Once again, Applied Imagination has created a world unto itself, carving beautiful replicas of iconic locations out of plants. Kids will have fun recognizing all the local landmarks, like the Mt. Airy Treehouse and even the Krohn Conservatory building. This year’s exhibit also features a stunning replica of the Union Terminal, which makes for a pretty awesome photo opp.

Of course, for kids, the trains are the main event — and they don’t disappoint. Younger kids will immediately recognize Thomas the Tank Engine, delighting in the long cargo trains in tracks running every which way and direction. There’s a lot to take in, and luckily, Krohn Conservatory is a place you always want to stay and enjoy.

Krohn Conservatory is one of Cincinnati’s most iconic gems. And A Zinzinnati Holiday is an homage to everything unique and beautiful about our city. As the holiday season takes off, be sure to put Krohn Conservatory’s A Zinzinnati Holiday on your family’s “must” list. Slow down and savor the season at this enchanting holiday exhibit.

A Zinzinnati Holiday at Krohn Conservatory is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm (with some after-hours events) through Jan. 5, 2020. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for kids 5-17 and free for children 4 and under (get a coupon here).
