The Belle of Cincinnati may be the queen of the Ohio River but during BB Riverboats Princess Cruise, royalty is all around! Darling little princesses and prince charmings put on their best royal manners for a party on the Belle’s lower deck.
BB Riverboats Princess Cruise brings aboard real Princesses for a royal academy lesson, singalong, story time and the ultimate dance party with a DJ!
The First Deck
BB Riverboats has ample parking along the Ohio River, stationed on the Newport side. There are ramps from the parking lot onto the boat and an elevator down to the first deck. The first deck is known as the Newport Deck, a 200 seated space with large mirrors, a big dance floor, dining area, restrooms and a bar.
While on the cruise, princesses are welcome to leave the first deck and explore the upper outdoor areas and stern of the boat. Picturesque views of the bridges and city skyline are a perfect backdrop for royal photos.
The Princesses
Elsa, Rapunzel, Tiana and Cinderella joined our cruise as royal friends and they knew how to get the party started! The fairy godmother welcomes each princess aboard with the fanfare they deserve, encouraging little gasps and squeals from the youngest princesses on the boat.
Immediately, at the emcee of the fairy godmother, the princesses lead a lesson on what it takes to be a princess: manners. First, a joyful smile. Then, a closed-hand wave. Finished by a royal curtsy.
The two hour cruise bops along with (really great) music, story time, a royal scepter gift from Elsa, a pony race, photos with princesses, a dancing parade and more! The best part, the princesses stay to dance and play for the entire cruise! *Princesses may vary
Food + Souvenirs
The BB Riverboats Princess Cruise has an option to purchase food while onboard. Kid-friendly cuisine like chicken tenders, mac and cheese, tacos and fries are available for an additional fee. Parents are welcome to stop by the bar for a drink of their own with fun souvenir cups for adults and kids.
Also for purchase are cute little trinkets like plastic tiaras, light up unicorns, and novelty candies. Upstairs on deck two, families can enjoy popcorn, ice cream, snacks and souvenirs like shirts, toys, and post cards for sale.
