Beech Acres Park

Beech Acres is another playground destination that every Cincinnati kid should experience at least once. The playground is large, handicap accessible, and has several different areas and themes to keep kids engaged. There is also a large sand play area and a seasonal spray ground!

Cottell Park

This 46-acre green space is perfect for all sorts of activities. The playground itself is entertaining for all ages with a designated spot for toddlers. It’s also mostly shaded, with plenty of benches, and other wide-open spaces to run around.

Crescent Park

Tucked behind the business district of Wyoming in a cute corner of Crescent and Worthington Avenue, Crescent Park is a brand new, fully accessible playground! The impressive structure has several wheelchair accessible spinners and rockers, swings, toddler playhouse and multi-level climber.

Fernbank Park

Fernbank Park is unique thanks to its beautiful location right along the river. The playground is large, mostly shaded, and has no mulch. You have to save time for a walk along the paved path that winds adjacent to the river.

Heroes Park

Heroes Park, located at the corner of Millikin and Morris Road, has epic features for kids of all ages! Serviced by Fairfield Township, the park has a little bit of everything- a playground with zip line, spinning nets, toddler space, multi-level climber, musical instruments, covered picnic areas, spacious parking, paved walking trail, veterans memorial and clean restrooms.

Kingswood Park

Sitting on top of astro-turf, the kid playground is newer with multilevel structures for bigger kids and a separate space for younger children. Kids can climb high on cargo nets, ropes, ladder steps, monkey bars and an extra wide slide. The toddler space has the same features but on a lower level to keep the little ones safe.

Landen Deerfield Park Challenge Course

Designed for ages 13+ but fun for children 7+, the challenge course at the front of the park features several agility stations to climb, crawl and run through. Ninja steps, traverse wall, u-turn ramp, floating boards, sway steps, agility trainer, up & over, corridor and vault wall provide a fun workout and challenge.

Makino Park

Makino Park’s Common Ground Playground is a one-of-a-kind play space that encourages inclusivity and accessibility. This 23-acre park in Mason is the first of its kind in the area, with numerous features designed to make it a place for all. The atmosphere can’t be beat with the river on one side and the skyline of downtown on the other and the playground is wonderfully unique. In addition to spots where kids can climb and slide, and even ride a flying pig, make sure to check out the multiple water fun areas throughout the park.

South Fork Park

Summit Park

The multi-level climber has been suggested to be better for older kids ages 4+. However, the playground does include a smaller side for toddlers to slide, swing and climb. The entire playground sits on artificial turf, safe and convenient for kids of all ages.

Voice of America MetroPark

Parky’s Farm is known as a part of Winton Woods with plenty of animal fun, but it also has an amazing playground. This farm-themed play structure is large and appealing to many ages. There are also great spots for a picnic and other activities offered throughout the summer, plus Parky’s Ark, a super-fun splash park!

Ziegler Park

Possibly the newest park on the list, Ziegler Park has great urban feel, with plenty of creative fun for kids. The park is adjacent to the sprayground for even more hot, summer day fun.
