After more than two decades of community desire and planning, West Chester Township officially opened the Beckett Park Splash Playground on May 23, 2025. Named a bicentennial gift, this $1.5–1.6 million investment transformed a failed ice-skating pond into Ohio’s largest free splash pad!

Design & Highlights

Massive layout: Second-largest free spray ground in the state!

Eighteen interactive water features, grouped into three age zones:

Tot zone (for 2–5 yr): low jets, water tables

Dynamic zone (for ages 6–12): slides, spraying arches

Family zone: central slides, water rock, arcs, dumping buckets—designed for group play

Central structure: 5-ft deck with a tube slide, plus additional smaller slides for tots and side-by-side slides.

Shade & seating: Covered seating wall and shade structures for parents and guardians.

Open: Beckett Park Splash Playground is open daily, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. through Labor Day.

Admission: Free—no fee, parking or reservation required .

Seasonal note: Picnic shelter is reserved May–September; others available first-come, first-served.
