Birthday Party at Blooms & Berries

I’ll be the first to admit: I’m not much of a party planner. But this year, after recently adding a new baby to our brood, I wanted to do something special to celebrate my almost-four-year-old, who’s no longer the baby and has taken to big brotherhood like a champ.

But — there’s the aforementioned baby. And I work from home. And summer “break” has me not getting much of a break to plan anything. So when I saw that Blooms & Berries offered birthday party packages, inspiration struck!

Last weekend, we hosted Harvey’s fourth Birthday Party at Blooms & Berries, and it was absolutely perfect.

A Birthday Party at Blooms & Berries lasts two hours and includes: a covered tent with four reserved tables, free farm admission for your guests, unlimited play in the playground, a bucket of goat feed for kids to feed the goats, and printable invitations. (You can also opt for extras like drinks and ice cream.) They’ll provide a cart to transport your cake and cooler, and hand sanitizer to use after all the animal encounters. Prices for the Farmyard Fun parties are extremely reasonable, and I felt like this party package provided a great mix of structured and unstructured activities for the kids.

(The large playground you love from Fall on the Farm has been revamped and set up for summer play – and now includes a Sound Garden, which was a huge hit with the toddlers in our party!)

But a Blooms & Berries birthday party is so much more than what’s outlined on the website. From the moment we arrived to set up, to when our last guest left, we all felt so taken care of. The staff at Blooms & Berries is the best of the best, and made sure we all had a great time. There were greeters in the Market Barn who warmly welcomed our guests and equipped everyone with wristbands. And I can’t say enough great things about the very sweet helpers who coordinated the different animal encounters.

In addition to letting the kids feed a very cute little goat, they even let the kids pet a bunny, one at a time. (Harvey is bunny obsessed… and the look on his face when he got to pet this amazingly big, fluffy bunny was absolutely priceless.) Jeff, the owner of Blooms & Berries, came over personally to say hello and make sure we were having a good time. This family-run farm is truly one of the warmest and most welcoming places to take your family in Cincinnati.

The two hours flew by. From the tent, I looked out and saw my kids happily playing with their cousins all throughout the farm. There was so much laughter and so much joy. Everyone had such a wonderful time and my kids loved the playground so much, we will most certainly take advantage of their open play hours this summer. From start to finish, Harvey’s fourth birthday party was a huge success.

If your child has a summer birthday, I highly recommend a birthday party at Blooms & Berries. Happy memories and a delightful day await your family at this Loveland farm.

Blooms & Berries is located at 9669 S. St. Rt. 48, Loveland, Ohio 45140.
