Q&A with the Code Ninjas Green Township:

What makes Code Ninjas Green Township unique?

Code Ninjas Green Township teaches kids technology year-round, not just during the summer. Our camps are led by trained Code Senseis who know how to engage kids, manage groups, and create a supportive environment where campers feel confident trying, learning, and problem-solving throughout the day.

What activities are offered at Code Ninjas Green Township?

Each Summer Camp focuses on a specific theme and includes guided instruction, hands-on projects, and creative challenges. Campers may create in Roblox or Minecraft, explore digital content creation, or work with interactive technology like micro:bits and MakeyMakey, depending on the camp they choose.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

We keep group sizes small so campers receive attention and support throughout the day. Our low camper-to-counselor ratio allows Code Senseis to actively supervise, guide activities, and engage with each camper.

How much time do the campers spend outside?

Camps are primarily indoors and technology-focused, but campers take regular breaks for movement and fresh air when weather permits.

Does Code Ninjas Green Township provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?

Parents should send campers with a packed lunch (if you book the AM and PM sessions) and snacks each day. We recommend nut-free items when possible to help maintain a safe environment for all campers.

What is the typical daily schedule for campers?

Each day includes a balance of guided instruction, project time, breaks, and supervised downtime. This structure helps campers stay engaged while still allowing time to recharge.

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?

Our camps are led by trained Code Senseis, typically high school and college-aged mentors with experience working with kids. All Senseis complete training focused on curriculum delivery, group management, and camper safety.

What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?

We aim to create a welcoming and supportive camp environment. While we may not be able to accommodate every need, families are encouraged to contact us before camp so we can discuss individual situations and determine the best fit.

Is prior coding or tech experience required?

Most Code Ninjas Green Township Summer Camps do not require prior coding or technology experience. Our Code Senseis guide campers at their individual level so beginners and returning campers can both succeed.

Some camps do include recommended age ranges or prior camp experience, which will be clearly noted in the camp description to help families choose the best fit.
