We’re so excited spring is here and it is time to think about where the best egg hunts are! We’ve kept up on all Easter fun again this year in the Dayton area. We will continue to update this list as we hear about more Easter Egg Hunts in the Dayton area.

Englewood Egg Hunt

Where: Centennial Park
Date: April 1, 9:45a

Open to children ages 8 and younger and they should bring their baskets. Morning includes egg hunting, treats, prizes and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny who arrives by fire truck at 9:45a. Egg Hunt at 10:30a

Oh Hoppy Day

Where: 10400 Innovation Drive Miamisburg
Date: April 1, 2-4p

Ginghamsburg Church Egg Hunt

Where: Tipp City Campus
Date: April 1, 10:30a

This one of a kind egg hunt not only has thousands of eggs for kids to hunt for, but also food, crafts and prizes, and of course a visit with the Easter Bunny! As an added bonus, Fire Pie will be onsite in Tipp City offering their delicious pizza for purchase. 100% of the proceeds from Fire Pie’s pizza sales will benefit the mission house we’re helping build in El Salvador!

DTCP Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Tipp City Public Library
Date: April 1, 1-4p

Free photos with the Easter Bunny at the Tipp City Public Library as well as an egg hunt for the whole family around downtown Tipp City.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Vandalia Recreation Center
Date: April 1, 11 am

Egg hunters welcome! Come on out and search for eggs and turn in eggs for candy and prizes! You will be able to stay and enjoy open swim after hunts are complete. Participants must be able to swim and/or must be accompanied by an adult.

Night Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Sackett Wright Park
Date: April 1, 8-9:30 pm

Join us for a fun and egg-citing night at our 6th Annual Night Easter Egg Hunt! Grab a partner and “catch” the fun that spring weather brings, by participating in a real egg “egg toss”. We will then get down to business locating plastic eggs in the dark of night from that sneaky Bunny! Prizes are awarded to winners in each age group and egg toss champions.

Easter Bunny Express

Where: LM & M Railroads
Date: April 1,2,8,9,10

Hop aboard the LM&M Railroad’s Easter Bunny Express! Enjoy a train ride with the Easter Bunny, followed by a train stop to participate in an Easter egg hunt.

Floating Egg Hunt

Where: Great Miami Valley YMCA
Date: March 31, April 1, April 6, April 8

Join us for our Annual Floating Easter Egg Hunt! Register for one of the 30 minute time slots to swim and hunt eggs. Hop on into the gym for pictures with the Easter Bunny, Craft s, and Face Painting before or after your session. We will finish out the event with a Magic Show for every BUNNY presented by the talented John Louis from “On The Edge Of Illusion”. Every child leaves with a goody bag!!

Extreme Egg Hunt

Where: Caesar Ford Park
Date: April 7, 6:30 – 9:30 pm

Easter egg hunts aren’t just for kids anymore! This egg hunt is AMPED up and sure to be a wild time! Can you find Easter eggs in the dark? If you can, you could win prizes! Participants must have a flashlight to participate (household flashlights only, no garage style.) Ages 18 and up only.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Greene

Where: The Greene
Date: April 2, 2p

Everyone will gather at the stage in center court at 2:00 PM and the hunt will begin shortly after. We will have a separate area set up for children under 2 years of age. Immediately following the Easter Egg Hunt, our Easter photo studio will be open for photos!

Tiny Tikes Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Vandalia Recreation Center Special Events Room
Date: March 24, 6-7p

Hop on out to this early Easter program! Your child will make Easter crafts and will participate in a mini Easter Egg Hunt outside the Vandalia Recreation Center!

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Kettering Recreation Complex
Date: March 31, 8-9:15 pm

Join us as we shake things up a bit and bring you a hunt for adults only! Bring your flashlights because we will be hunting in the dark for eggs that may redeem BIG prizes! Eggs contain candy, coupons, raffle tickets used to bid on our amazing gift baskets (worth between $50-200!), and tickets that correspond to gift cards donated from a variety of local vendors. We will have music, grab bags for each participant and a photo op with the bunny himself!

Sweet Arrow Easter Egg Hunt – Adults Only!

Where: Sweet Arrow Reserve
Date: March 31, 7-9 pm

Why should kids have all the fun!? This egg hunt is for the adults out there that are young at heart. The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs on the wooded and prairie trails at Sweet Arrow Reserve for you to find. The bunny is sneaky, so don’t expect the eggs to be hidden out in the open, you will have to use your flashlight and keen eye sight to find these eggs. If you are lucky enough to find an egg you will be going home with a cool prize. Spaces are limited, so hop to it and register today!

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Vandalia Recreation Center
Date: March 31, 8 pm

Time for the adults to relive their childhood egg hunt! Eggs will contain candy, raffle tickets and gift cards and after the egg hunt is over, everyone will meet back in the VRC Gymnasium to count eggs and begin the raffle. Participants will meet in the VRC Gymnasium no later than 7:40pm to check in. The egg hunt will start promptly at 8:00pm. Please bring a flashlight to this event.

Annual Vandalia Community Easter

Where: Vandalia Recreation Center
Date: April 8, 11 am

Bring the family out and have an “egg”cellent time at the Vandalia Easter Eggstravaganza! We will have egg hunts, baby goat petting zoo, arts & crafts, face painting, vendors, games & activities, food trucks, Easter bunny photo area, a golden egg scavenger hunt and more!

The Great Golden Egg Scavenger Hunt begins at 12:00pm. Stop at the Gold Egg Booth for your map. Egg hunts 11a and 1p.

Be Hope Bunny Trail

Where: Be Hope Church (Beavercreek Campus)
Date: April 8, 10a-12p

Hey kids & families! We’re egg-static to host a brand new experience for your family this Easter! The Be Hope Bunny Trail is for kids (up to 5th grade) that will feature interactive and exciting egg stops/stations where kids will have fun and receive candy-filled eggs. Together, families will walk the Bunny Trail, have fun, laugh lots, and, the best part, every child will receive candy and make amazing memories! There will be also be a petting zoo and wagon rides (weather permitting) through the woods!

Easter Egg Hunt Youngs Dairy

Where: Young’s Jersey Dairy
Date: April 9, 2 pm

As is our tradition, we will hard boil and dye over 7,000 eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt. This event starts promptly at 2 PM for children ages 4 and under. At 2:20 PM we do it again for ages 5 to 7. At 2:40 PM we have the final hunt for ages 8 to 10.
