Babywearing Hike Series

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Intended Audience: This program is designed for adults with infants under 1 year in age. Toddlers may attend if worn in a carrier for the duration of the hike. With a focus on community, we’re creating a space for caregivers with babies in a similar stage of life to introduce their little ones to the outdoors in a calm, forgiving way.

Program Description: Bond with your baby outdoors in this babywearing hike series. Designed specifically for caregivers and babies in their first year, this hike offers a safe, steady-paced walk appropriate for babywearing.

What to Expect:

This program is entirely outdoors.
Trails/areas used during this program are rated as easy (mild hills, gravel trails) for a planned distance of 1-2 miles at a slow to moderate pace.
Restrooms are available at the start and end of the program. Restrooms are not available on the trails.
Program runs rain or shine.
What to Bring: Water, snacks, baby carrier, sun hat (for baby).

Note: The hike portion of this program will last between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the disposition of our littler guests. There is a 15-minute buffer time at the beginning of the program for families to settle in and get ready for the hike, so please arrive on time.

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the pavilion outside the PlayScape at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
