Pumpkin Smash

Liberty Center’s Pumpkin Smash, held in partnership with GroundsPRO, gives old jack-o’-lanterns an earth-friendly send-off. Families can bring their rotting pumpkins to The Park and smash them in an open-top dumpster, and every pumpkin is then composted by GroundsPRO.

Only pumpkins are accepted. Remove paint, glitter, googly eyes, stickers and candles first, since they contaminate the compost.
