The 4th of July is summer’s biggest celebration, complete with festivals, food, fanfare and, of course, fireworks! All across Southwest Ohio, there are celebrations big and small in honor of our great county.

Freedom Fest
July 4, 5 & 6
New Richmond Ohio’s “Freedom Fest” presented by Small Town Home Health Solutions and VFW Fred Calaway Post 6770. All of the events are family friendly and will be spread out over multiple days
Fort Thomas Independence Day Celebration
July 4 from 8 am – 11 pm
Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Highlands High School and ends at Tower Park. The Festival at Tower park features games, rides and food with fireworks at 10 p.m

Newport Blast Fireworks Cruise
July 3 from 7 pm – 11 pmÂ
Celebrate our nation’s birthday with a good old-fashioned, All-American Fireworks show with our beautiful Skyline as the backdrop! Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and settle into the unmatched best seats in the city for a pyrotechnic display that you will feel as much as you will see. Musical entertainment will be provided, and all seating will be banquet-style and reserved. Parties will be sat with other reservations to take up every seat on board.
City of Montgomery 4th of July Parade and Festival
July 4 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (Parade starts at 10 a.m.)
Food, Entertainment, and Family Fun! Live band featuring Eden, food vendors, magic shows, crafts, scavenger hunt and an All-Star baseball game.
Red, White and BOOM
July 4 from 8-10 pm at Riverbend
Come together and celebrate America’s birthday from sea to shining sea. Join JMR and the Pops for a showcase of American favorites inspired by the beauty of this land and its peoples. This is America the Beautiful for all—with music to lift your spirit and set your heart aglow. Stick around for the post-concert fireworks! Free lawn ticket for kids 17 and under.
Harrison Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks
July 4 at 3p in Historic Downtown Harrison
The Harrison Recreation Commission has planned an evening of fun including a parade, fireworks, live music and other entertainment. Food, drinks and adult beverages will be available for purchase. There will be free family activities including a cornhole tournament, face painting and more. Please use the link for an application to participate in the parade.
Stricker’s Grove 4th of July Fireworks
July 4 from 2-11 pm
Sticker’s Grove 4th of July event is its most popular open to the public days. Enjoy rides, food, friends and family and cap the day off with fireworks! Admission to the park is free. If your party would like to ride rides we have a couple options. Purchase individual tickets or an arm band for unlimited riding.
Red, White and Blue Ash 2024
July 4 at Summit Park from 4p-10:30p

Northside Fourth of July Parade
July 4 in Downtown Northside starting at 11 am
A free, music-filled festival in the Heart of Northside with the most colorful parade in town!
Patriotic Drone Light Show and Fireworks Friday

Post-game show featuring drones lighting up the sky along with fireworks to celebrate Independence Day.
